Moh's micrographic surgery offers the highest cure rate available for skin cancers. This tissue-sparing technique involves removing the smallest amount of skin possible and reviewing all of the tissue margins in the office during the procedure to ensure the tumor is 100% clear before performing a cosmetic closure. The surgery is performed in-office under local anesthetic and you will have a dedicated operating suite to yourself for privacy during the entire procedure, as well as both and pre- and post- periods. Dr. Barnard has performed thousands of Moh's surgeries over the past 25 years with excellent functional and cosmetic outcomes. Please call for a consultation to discuss your particular needs. We work with all insurance carriers and offer special fees for our Medicare, TriCare and uninsured patients as well as payment plans. Dr. Barnard has been teaching his skin cancer reconstruction techniques to the Stanford residents as an adjunct clinical faculty member for over 20 years.
